Apple’s software complaint management system is set to be rolled out in 2017, a company spokeswoman said.
Apple will have an “effective” complaint management tool by 2020, the spokeswoman said, but a new one will be launched by the end of 2020.
In response to a request for comment, Apple declined to provide details about when it plans to introduce a new complaint management solution.
The move follows an outcry by tech companies over Apple’s ongoing lawsuit against Samsung and the allegations made by Apple’s own lawyers that Samsung had engaged in “malicious cyber bullying” against Apple.
Apple sued Samsung in September, accusing the company of creating a program that allows users to log in to iCloud and access private data.
Apple has denied the allegations and said the software is used by customers for “security, productivity and convenience.”
