A California company is putting a parking management app on everyone’s smartphone to reduce parking in the church.
The technology will be used by local congregations and nonprofit organizations to manage parking, reduce congestion, and monitor parking prices.
The church management software was developed by the church in partnership with Palo Alto-based Salesforce and is based on Salesforce’s existing parking management tools.
“It’s a way to automate parking in a way that we haven’t been able to before,” said Steve Jones, senior vice president of Salesforce.
This is an area of concern that we see, where there are a lot of parking lots with lots of people, so parking is really a big problem.
The church is a huge community that has lots of cars, and that is not something we can control,” Jones said.
While some of the parking lot management software already exists in churches, Salesforce has developed an app specifically for churches.
Salesforce will provide a $2,500 discount to churches using its Salesforce parking management technology.
Church Management Software, developed by Salesforce, is being used by churches in Palo Alto and Sacramento.
It will be available for download in the next two months for churches in the San Francisco Bay Area.
According to the company, Sales Force is the world’s largest provider of parking management solutions.
In Palo Alto, the company is developing a software for the city’s public transit systems.
Salesforce also has a parking technology suite for churches and community organizations.
When asked if the technology would be rolled out to churches in other cities, Jones said, “it would be an interesting development.”
The Palo Alto Church Management app is available for iPhones, iPads, and Android phones.
