A new security vulnerability in Landlord Management Security has been identified in the latest version of the Microsoft Security Bulletin.
The security update addresses the vulnerability described in the CVE-2017-1257 bulletin.
Landlord Manager, as the name implies, helps tenants find a home for their property by offering a tenant-friendly leasing model.
The update addresses two vulnerabilities: a possible denial-of-service vulnerability that could cause the software to run for hours without being restarted and a possible memory corruption vulnerability that would allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code in the context of the tenant.
Microsoft has not yet released a statement on the vulnerability.
Landlords can download the security update from Microsoft’s website or from the Microsoft Download Center.
Landowners are advised to apply the update as soon as possible.
Security updates can be downloaded from Microsoft.com or directly from Microsoft, including all major updates and security updates.
The latest security bulletin is available in English and Spanish.
