The carriers and cable companies have been working together to improve the network and service they offer, but the two carriers are going to have to work together again.
Verizon is likely to take a bigger share of the data-centric video services like Netflix, Amazon and YouTube, but it may be reluctant to let T-Mo share its own content with Verizon.
And Verizon is more likely to focus on other areas like video-on-demand, video-sharing and digital video services.
T-Mob has been trying to work with both the carriers and the networks to offer its own services, but Verizon is most likely to be the one to bring those services to the network, the carriers are said to agree.
Verizon will also likely keep an eye on other content and services like YouTube.
